Lithuanian Airports (LTOU) continued their strong growth trajectory in March 2026, handling over 542,000 passengers—an increase of 6.7% year-on-year and a new record for the month. Growth was recorded across all three airports—Vilnius, Kaunas, and Palanga—despite some disruption to routes in the Middle East.
Vilnius Airport led the expansion with a 7.8% rise to more than 377,000 passengers. Kaunas Airport grew by 4.3% to nearly 129,000 passengers, while Palanga Airport increased traffic by 5.1% to around 36,000 passengers. All three airports surpassed their previous March records.
Flight activity also increased, with nearly 4,800 flights operated across the network (+3.7% year-on-year). Vilnius recorded the strongest growth in flight volumes (+5.2%), while Kaunas remained stable and Palanga saw a modest increase.
Performance in Lithuania outpaced neighbouring markets, with Riga declining by 2% and Tallinn growing by just 2%. First-quarter traffic has also exceeded the previous record set in 2025, indicating sustained demand heading into the summer season.
