Vienna Airport will welcome a new airline in spring 2026 as FlyOne Armenia enters the Austrian market with a direct service to Yerevan. The new route will launch on 3 April 2026 with one weekly flight, increasing to three flights per week from June. Services will be operated with an Airbus A320.
The new connection strengthens Vienna’s links to the Caucasus region and expands point-to-point travel options from the Austrian capital. Flights will depart Yerevan at 15:40, arriving in Vienna at 17:30, with return services leaving Vienna at 18:30 and landing in Yerevan at 23:50. Passengers will also benefit from onward connections via Yerevan across FlyOne Armenia’s wider network.
Vienna Airport management highlighted the route as a valuable addition that enhances traveller choice and supports tourism to an emerging destination. FlyOne Armenia described the launch as a strategic milestone, citing Vienna’s strong market potential and the route’s expected contribution to tourism flows between Armenia and Austria.
Yerevan, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, offers a mix of cultural heritage, UNESCO-listed sites, dramatic Caucasus landscapes and a growing culinary scene, positioning it as an increasingly attractive destination for European travellers.
