Several international airlines have suspended their flights to and from Israel after a missile launched by Houthi rebels reportedly targeted an area near Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport.
British Airways has announced that it is suspending its flights to Tel Aviv until May 7. Air India has taken similar action, halting all flights to Israel until May 6.
The Lufthansa Group — which includes SWISS, Austrian Airlines, and Brussels Airlines — has also cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv through May 6. Meanwhile, Air France, Transavia and ITA Airways have joined the list of carriers that have paused operations to Israel amid rising security concerns.
American carriers United Airlines and Delta Air Lines—both of which had only recently resumed flights to Israel—have also cancelled their flights, along with Air Canada, All Nippon Airways, and Air Europa.
