Wreckage of old Airbus A300 catches fire at Tehran Imam Khomeini Airport

On 31 October, the wreckage of an old Airbus A300 caught fire at Tehran Imam Khomeini Airport. Rescue services rushed to the scene and quickly contained the fire, the airport confirmed that no further damage to the infrastructure has been reported. Four people with minor injuries have been treated. The airport authorities released the following images.

  1. I think, the aircraft in question is ex-Mahan Airlines EP-MNS (MSN414), which by the way was also operated by Lufthansa from June 1987 to November2008 as D-AIAP (“Donauwörth”).
