The municipality of Saint-Hubert, in collaboration with the local aviation hub, announces the organisation of the Saint-Hub Air Show 2026 (follow the Facebook page and event for up-to-date information), which will take place on August 22nd and 23rd, 2026. Families, Aviation enthusiasts, pilots and all friends are cordially invited to this fantastic weekend.

Building on the growing success of the three previous editions of the Fly-In—which attracted more than 5,000 visitors over a single weekend—the municipality is taking a new step forward by launching an ambitious air show, intended to establish itself as a leading event in the Walloon region. Given this enthusiasm and the scale of this new event, this edition is expected to welcome a large and diverse family audience in an exceptional setting.

Airshow

On August 22nd and 23rd, the Saint-Hubert airfield will host an exceptional air show. The programme features aerobatics and microlight formations. Historic aircraft will also be on display, both in a static exhibition and in flight, with dynamic demonstrations lasting nearly three hours.

Numerous activities will round out the program, including introductory flights open to the public aboard various types of aircraft. This is a unique opportunity to experience the thrill of flight and inspire new careers by introducing as many people as possible to the fascinating world of aviation.

On the ground, visitors of all ages can also enjoy a variety of activities: electric scooters, a flight simulator, and a Kids’ Zone will ensure there’s something for everyone. For dining, several food trucks will be on hand to offer a varied and welcoming selection of food.

La Défense (Belgian Defence) will be a partner of the event, featuring an F-16 on static display, as well as a SIAI SF-260 Marchetti, the iconic aircraft of the national aerobatic team, the Diables Rouges.

Numerous Belgian and international players in the aviation sector will be participating in this event. The National Gliding Centre (CNVV), based in Saint-Hubert, will also be present. This centre has trained many pilots who are now active in commercial and military aviation.

Flight schools, aircraft maintenance companies, and representatives from the ultralight sector (aeroplanes and helicopters) will also take part in this collaborative effort.

Designed as a true family-friendly event, it will bring together aviation enthusiasts, curious visitors, and families for a programme accessible to all, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

As one of the few air shows organised in the Wallonia region, the Saint-Hub Air Show 2026 serves as a showcase for the general public, industry professionals, and government officials. It aims to highlight the richness and dynamism of the aviation ecosystem.

What’s on in the sky?

Headlining the event is the OV-10 Bronco, an impressive twin-engine aircraft notably used during the Vietnam War and in firefighting missions, which will thrill the audience with its power, agility, and spectacular demonstrations.
