Airports in Rzeszów and Lublin, in eastern Poland, reopened on Tuesday morning after a temporary suspension of operations to allow unrestricted military flight activity, according to the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA).
The closure was linked to routine military operations. Ewa Z?otnicka, spokesperson for the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, confirmed that there was no threat to Polish airspace and stressed that the activities were planned and precautionary in nature. She did not disclose details about the type of military aircraft involved.
Normal airport operations have since resumed.
