This morning (26 December) at 08:30 (UTC +1), Paris CDG airport terminal 2AC was briefly evacuated after two men were showing (airsoft) weapons in front of some terrified passengers. The two, unaware of their potentially dangerous actions, were arrested by the French counter-terrorism unit GIGN (Groupe d’Intervention de la Gendarmerie Nationale). The airport operations resumed around 09:15.
