About 4 kilogrammes of cocaine were discovered by the Surinamese police inside the toilet of a KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Boeing 777-300 (registered PH-BVS) at Paramaribo airport, Suriname, on Tuesday, 19 April.
The drugs were discovered by a detection dog during a routine check just before the aircraft departed for flight KL714 with destination Amsterdam Schiphol, The Netherlands.
The police seized the illegal substance; it’s currently unknown who hid the cocaine. An investigation has been launched, nobody got arrested.
