Ostend-Bruges Airport has completed a major refurbishment of its food and beverage area and VIP lounge, aiming to enhance passenger comfort ahead of the busy summer travel season.

The renovated F&B zone, operated by Erasmus Catering, features a redesigned layout, modernised interior, and an expanded range of food and beverage options. The airport has also significantly enlarged and upgraded its VIP lounge, providing travellers with more space and a quieter environment for relaxation or work before departure.

Airport CEO Nathan De Valck said the investment supports the airport’s strategy of offering a stress-free travel experience through convenient parking, short walking distances, fast check-in procedures, and minimal security queues. Erasmus Catering CEO Erik Van Welzen added that the renovation also focuses on improving the quality and variety of services available to passengers.

Access to the VIP lounge is included for travellers booking through TUI’s VIP Selection programme, while other passengers can purchase entry at the airport.

The upgrades follow strong customer satisfaction results, with 84% of passengers rating their airport experience as good to very good. The airport expects a busy summer season, supported by a 5.3% increase in seat capacity from TUI fly Belgium, and believes the new facilities will further strengthen its appeal as a convenient alternative to larger airports.
