Noida International Airport is set to begin commercial operations in mid-June 2026, with its first flight scheduled for 15 June—marking the transition from construction to full operational status.
The inaugural service will be operated by IndiGo, with Akasa Air and Air India Express expected to commence operations shortly afterwards.
Developed and operated by Flughafen Zürich AG, the airport will initially feature a single runway and a modern terminal designed for efficiency and passenger convenience. It is expected to handle up to 12 million passengers annually in its first phase.
Strategically positioned to support the Delhi region, the new airport will help ease congestion at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Future expansion plans include additional runways and scaling capacity to as many as 70 million passengers per year, along with the introduction of international routes.
