Luftamt Südbayern closed Terminal 2 at Munich Airport on Saturday morning after a security threat; a person (a woman) was able to enter the terminal without the necessary security checks.
The airport authorities were forced to clear the terminal in order to find the culprit, flight departures were halted and thousands of passengers had to wait inside the main terminal of the airport.

Just before noon -three hours after the first announcement- the airport has reopened. The airport warned of possible delays throughout the day.
Two hundred flights were cancelled and 60 more were delayed. The woman was not found, but she should not be a threat, said airport authorities.
Along with thousands of others, now being funneled inside the main Munich terminal to wait it out. No flights taking off. Still no sense of what has happened. pic.twitter.com/hK1YZ9kPKx
