On Wednesday evening (6 November), Milan Malpensa Airport, Italy was briefly evacuated after a “suspicious package in a hand luggage” was discovered. The airport authorities quickly evacuated terminal 2, but after 20 minutes passengers were allowed again into the terminal as the bomb squad took care of the hand luggage, which in fact only contained a strange looking metal object.
