On 21 October, a severe storm hit Memphis Airport, United States. A surveillance video recorded a jet bridge at concourse A (gate A27) being blown away like a leaf. During the same storm, a UPS Boeing 757-200F (N443UP) was seriously damaged whilst parked as loose containers and equipment flew around.
The airport authorities tweeted the surveillance video and added in relief that: “Fortunately, nobody was injured in this incident.” On the video of the UPS Boeing 757-200F, you can see damage to fuselage and engine casing. The aircraft is still on the ground at moment of writing.
