Important information for Brussels Airlines and Eurowings passengers
From 30 April 2019, flights operated by Brussels Airlines and Eurowings will depart from and arrive at Terminal 2 instead of Terminal 1.
Terminal 1 is the flagship terminal of Manchester Airport, hosting, among others, Lufthansa, SWISS and Austrian Airways. Terminal 2 serves mainly long-haul carriers.
Contacted by Aviation24.be, Brussels Airlines spokesperson Wencke Lemmes-Piraux explains that Terminal 1 will soon be destroyed and that all the airlines currently hosted in that terminal will sooner or later move to Terminal 2. Eurowings and Brussels Airlines are the first airlines to be transferred.
