Heavy snow is disrupting air traffic today at Madrid Barajas Airport, delays are to be expected. The airport authorities (AENA) informed that three runways have been kept operational, but as aircraft are landing with more separation delays may occur.
Until 15:30 42 flights have been cancelled, 6 other flights (from 1,075 scheduled) diverted to nearby airports. AENA urges passengers to check flight information on the official Madrid-Barajas airport website or directly with their airline.
