Several inbound flights are currently holding around London Gatwick airport as the airport authorities were forced to close the airfield again after another drone sighting. It’s now the third consecutive day that drones are hindering safe air travel. The last departing traffic was an easyJet Airbus bound for Toulouse.
“Gatwick is investigating reports of a drone sighting. As a precaution we have suspended airfield operations,” the airport tweeted.
