Authorities are investigating how a woman boarded a Tel Aviv-bound aircraft at Larnaca Airport on Monday evening, 5 October, despite not appearing on the flight’s passenger manifest. Police confirmed the incident on Tuesday.
According to sources cited in the report, the Georgian woman had purchased a ticket, checked in and passed security, but allegedly evaded the airline’s final boarding check. The same sources said she was considered persona non grata in Israel.
Crew members discovered the additional passenger during a headcount, and authorities removed her from the aircraft. Civil Aviation has launched an investigation into how she gained access to the plane and whether boarding procedures were bypassed.
Flightradar24 data suggest that the flight might be TUS Airways U8-108 operated by Airbus A320 5B-DDN.
