Katowice Wojciech Korfanty International Airport will launch its “Winter 2025/2026” flight schedule on 26 October 2025, offering an unprecedented 75 routes to 66 airports across 39 countries through 28 March 2026.

The new season introduces six new routes — three regular and three charter. Wizz Air adds scheduled flights to Porto, Billund, and Agadir, while new charter destinations include Aqaba (Jordan), Cartagena (Colombia), and Kayseri (Turkey).

Regular Flights

Four carriers — Wizz Air, Ryanair, LOT Polish Airlines, and Air Dolomiti/Lufthansa — will operate 40 regular routes to 35 airports in 20 countries (including Brussels South Charleroi with Ryanair). Key highlights include:

  • Italy (8 routes), Spain (7), and the UK (3) remain top destinations.
  • New regular connections: Billund, Agadir, and Porto (Wizz Air).
  • LOT Polish Airlines continues the domestic link with Warsaw.

Charter Flights

Travel agencies will offer 35 charter routes to 24 countries, including five destinations in Spain and three in Egypt.

Notably, nine long-haul routes will again feature wide-body aircraft such as the Airbus A330 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner, connecting Katowice to the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico, Thailand, Venezuela, Vietnam, and the new long-haul route, Cartagena, Colombia.

Record Passenger Forecast

Katowice Airport expects a record 1.9 million passengers during the upcoming winter season — the strongest in its history. Following its 2024 record of 6.39 million passengers, the airport projects over 7 million travellers in 2025, solidifying its position as Poland’s leading regional hub for charter flights and the top regional airport in commercial cargo traffic.

Artur Tomasik, President of the Upper Silesian Aviation Group, stated:

“Winter 2025/2026 will mark the best season in our history, with the broadest selection of destinations and record passenger numbers.”
