Flight disruptions returned to Madeira Airport this afternoon, with four flights already diverted and another four still circling between Madeira and Porto Santo. Notably, an easyJet flight from Gatwick was diverted to Faro.
Other diversions included:

- SK 2901 (SAS, Stockholm)
- TO 7840 (Transavia, Nantes) – now heading to Porto
- 4Y 704 (EW Discover, Munich)
Earlier in the day:
- A SATA flight from the Azores was diverted to Porto Santo and is awaiting further instructions.
- Two morning flights from Tenerife South (Ryanair and United Airlines) were cancelled after already diverting yesterday.
Weather conditions are expected to worsen on Sunday, and passengers are advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport.
