Due to heavy thunderstorms and CB’s around Frankfurt Airport, flight schedules were heavily disrupted on Monday evening (3 June). Until 17:00 (UTC +2), the airport was unavailable for arriving traffic. Lufthansa, the airport’s biggest customer, was forced to cancel more than 65 flights.
“Please check the status of your flight before traveling to the airport and allow extra time for your journey,” the airport informs, “we also recommend that you check in as early as possible on the day of your departure.”
