
As a direct consequence of Hurricane Maria, now classified as a category 4 Hurricane and currently hitting Martinique, the Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport (IATA: FDF, ICAO: TFFF) is now closed.
All flights have been cancelled and passengers are asked to revert to their respective airlines for any updates on their flight schedule.
Martinique is today on Purple alert, the ultimate scale in preventive measures as defined by the French Government.
The Airport Management team plans a reopening of the airport tomorrow September 19th as from 07:00 with full assistance to all passengers upon approval of local authorities. Updated information will be released on airport operations on September 19th.
In the meantime, the airport recommends all our passengers to strictly follow the safety instructions released by the authorities.
