At the request of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority, all international air traffic to and from Erbil (EBL) and Sulaymaniyah (ISU) airports will be suspended with effect from 15:00 (UTC) on 29 September until further notice.
Qatar Airways, one of the airlines that flies to the two airports hopes to resume operations once a new notification is issued by the Iraqi Authorities permitting international flights to both, or either, of these two airports. Qatar Airways passengers are requested to contact the airline.
