Eindhoven Airport replies on Ryanair’s flight reduction due to lack of slots

During a press conference today, Ryanair announced that it did not start a number of new destinations from Eindhoven Airport and did not increase frequencies of some existing routes due to the failure to obtain the required slots.

Eindhoven Airport has to stick to its actual licence and therefore can’t comply with the airlines flight requests.

Despite Ryanair can’t realize its desired growth at Eindhoven Airport, the airport is pleased with the new destinations Edinburgh, Kiev, Lviv and Thessaloniki.

The above development does not affect previously published annual forecasts, which represents 11% growth in passengers and 10% in flight movements compared with 2016.
