Plaza Premium Group has expanded its North American footprint with the opening of two new airport lounges at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, marking the debut of its high-end Plaza Premium First concept in the United States.
The new lounges, located in Terminal D, include both Plaza Premium First—the brand’s most premium offering—and a more accessible Plaza Premium Lounge, designed to cater to a wide spectrum of travellers. The launch strengthens the company’s presence at one of the world’s busiest aviation hubs and reflects growing demand for upgraded airport experiences.
The opening ceremony was attended by senior executives from Plaza Premium Group and airport leadership, including DFW’s Chief Revenue Officer. Company founder and CEO Song Hoi See described the launch as a key milestone in the group’s U.S. expansion, emphasising a focus on personalised service, culinary quality and design innovation.
The Plaza Premium First lounge targets premium travellers with a full-service dining model, including table service, curated menus and an elevated beverage programme. Amenities include private seating areas, shower facilities and dedicated concierge-style service.
Alongside it, the Plaza Premium Lounge offers a more casual but still premium experience, featuring buffet and à la carte dining, local food and beverage options, and amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi and flexible seating arrangements.
Both lounges incorporate design elements inspired by the Dallas-Fort Worth region, blending local culinary influences with international hospitality standards.
Access to the lounges is available to departing passengers for a fee, starting at $70 for the standard lounge and $115 for Plaza Premium First. The group is also expanding its service ecosystem at DFW, including meet-and-assist services and plans for a bundled premium offering combining lounge access with chauffeur transfers and concierge support.
DFW Airport handles nearly 86 million passengers annually and connects to more than 270 destinations worldwide, making it a key gateway in global aviation. Plaza Premium Group’s investment aligns with the airport’s continued growth and its push to enhance premium passenger services.
The expansion underscores a broader industry trend toward differentiated airport hospitality, as operators compete to capture higher-value travellers seeking comfort, privacy and tailored experiences before departure.
