Copenhagen Airport welcomed 3.17 million passengers in June, making it the busiest June in the airport’s history. Passenger numbers increased by 46,000 compared with June 2025, while 7 June set a new single-day record with 121,722 travellers passing through the terminals.
Southern Europe remained the most popular holiday region, with Spain leading the way at 252,000 passengers, followed by Italy (220,000) and France (159,000). Greece continued to dominate the charter market, with Crete and Rhodes the favourite island destinations.
Although European traffic remained stable at 2.8 million passengers, Copenhagen Airport noted that overall growth was slightly below expectations due to some airlines reducing frequencies in response to higher fuel costs.
The strongest growth came on Asian routes, where passenger numbers surged by 52%, driven by increased services and new destinations including Seoul and Ho Chi Minh City.
The airport expects 19 July to become its busiest day of the year, with around 124,000 passengers forecast to travel through its terminals.
