A massive audience awaited the arrival of A6-EUG, one of the many Emirates Airlines Airbus A380s, at the newly build plane spotting platform next to Brussels Airport. This aircraft is painted in a special Real Madrid livery.
The largest commercial aircraft in the world visited Brussels Airport for a one-off operation to test the infrastructure and the newly erected A380 gate.
It is not the first time that an Emirates A380 touches down on Belgian soil: already in September 2015, an A380 visited Brussels Airport to celebrate the first anniversary of its Dubai – Brussels route. In 2010, Lufthansa brought a visit to Belgium with one of their A380s.
