The CEO of Brussels Airport Company Arnaud Feist says in Belgian financial newspaper L’Echo published this Tuesday not to be against a rapprochement with Brussels South Charleroi Airport (BSCA). “We have talked about a possible rapprochement with Charleroi in the last few years, we are not against it, but I do not think there is any interest on the part of the Walloon Region. Nor is it on the agenda on the side of the Walloon Region,” Feist told L’Echo.
According to him, the approach should not be in the sense of limiting competition between the two airports. “If there is a will on the part of the Walloon Region to discuss it, I am ready to do so with them. For us, this is not a strategic priority and we will not take a proactive approach,” he said.
