Update for operations at Brussels Airport after the attacks

Please find an update for Brussels Airport regarding airport operations.

There will be no passenger flights tomorrow. Brussels Airport and airlines are in narrow contact to find suitable solutions for all passengers.

Brussels Airport is looking at the possibilities to start cargo flights today or tomorrow. Brucargo landside has been cleared since yesterday. As soon as Brucargo airside is cleared, cargo flights could resume.

Passengers who left their luggage at the airport yesterday, are requested to contact their airline or their handlers. This is the fastest way to retrieve the luggage. If there is no representative office of the airline at Brussels Airport, passengers are requested to fill out the lost luggage form on the website of Brussels Airport http://www.brusselsairport.be/en/passngr/lugagge_travelinfo/lostnfoundapp/

Passengers who have cars at the airport parking can’t retrieve their car yet. Brussels Airport will communicate as soon as possible about any changes.

Brussels Airport remains closed tomorrow Thursday

Brussels Airport extends its deepest sympathy to the friends and relatives of the victims of the explosions in the departures hall on Tuesday.

Following these attacks, there will be no passenger flights into and out of Brussels Airport today and tomorrow Thurday 24 March.

Because the forensic investigation is still underway, we currently have no access to the building. Until we can assess the damage, it remains unclear when we can resume operations.
Passengers who have lost or had to leave their baggage at the airport yesterday are requested to register with their airline.

If your baggage was not yet checked in, please fill in the Lost & Found form. As we still do not have access to the terminal, it may take a while before you get feedback about your belongings.

Brussels Airlines passengers who have checked in their luggage at a foreign airport and were unable to retrieve their luggage upon arrival in Brussels on Tuesday, we kindly ask you to file a missing baggage report here. Please use token BRUMAR22 to complete your report.

Passengers who booked their ticket via a travel agency (or online travel agency like Expedia, Opodo, …) are kindly asked to contact their agency for their rebooking or refund.
