Brussels Airport has broken a new day record today (30 July) by welcoming 96,000 passengers. While around half of them already enjoyed their well-deserved holiday, the other half still need to set off on vacation. Around 5,000 festival-goers from Tomorrowland are returning home too.
The previous day record was set about one year ago; on 28 July 2017 when the airport handled 94,305 passengers.
Despite the busy period everything is running very smoothly at and around the airport; the airport mobilized extra staff to assist passengers, who are advised to check in well before the departure time of their flight.
