Enhanced police presence at Brussels Airport following security alert Thursday night

Share

On Thursday evening, a significant police deployment occurred at Brussels Airport due to a security alert, though it did not disrupt airport operations.

The increased security comes just days after a false bomb threat last Saturday, which caused a temporary closure of the departure hall and baggage areas, affecting hundreds of passengers.

The alert and subsequent police response were confirmed by the federal police.
