The week of 8 January, Brussels Airport Company, together with Wegebo and Delobelle architects, will commence the construction of the plane spotting platforms. How fast the work will progress depends on weather conditions, but we expect the spotting platforms to be ready for use in the course of April.
Both the Vliegbos and the popular spotting vantage point near the transit centre will be less easily accessible for spotters from January to April. Both construction sites will, from the start of the work until its completion, be fenced off. This means it will be more difficult for a bit to spot at Brussels Airport, but the result will be worth it. So please be patient a little while longer!
