Brussels Airport will close runway 07R/25L from 12 July to 27 August 2025 for major renovation works, including resurfacing 290,000 m² of asphalt, upgrading lighting, and improving drainage. The works will mostly take place Monday to Saturday, 06:00 to 22:00, with possible night and Sunday shifts if delays occur.
From 2–12 August, runway 01/19 will also be closed due to intersecting work, leaving only runway 07L/25R in use. Some temporary deviations from the Preferential Runway System are expected, and 07L landings will use satellite-based navigation.
While limited delays may occur, overall airport operations are expected to remain largely unaffected.
