Brussels Airport welcomed 2,507,817 passengers in July 2025, a 2% increase compared to the same month last year. The summer holiday rush peaked on 28 July with 92,000 travellers — the busiest day since the Covid pandemic. Spain, Italy, and Greece topped the list of most popular destinations.
Cargo volumes also saw a strong rise, up 13% year-on-year to 68,808 tonnes, driven mainly by a 42% boost in integrator services and growth in the full-freighter segment. Asia, Africa, and North America remained the leading import and export regions.
Flight movements increased by 3%, with passenger flights up 2% and cargo flights up 6%. The average load remained steady at 152 passengers per flight.
