Avolta has opened Café Artois at Brussels Airport, introducing a new permanent hospitality concept that highlights Belgian beer culture and local gastronomy in the airport’s departure hall.
Located before security, Café Artois is accessible not only to passengers but also to visitors and airport staff, positioning itself as a social meeting point rather than a purely travel-focused outlet. The concept follows a successful temporary activation and forms part of Avolta’s “Destination 2027” strategy, which aims to integrate locally rooted brands into travel environments.
The venue centres on the iconic Stella Artois experience, developed in partnership with AB InBev. It offers a range of Belgian beers including Leffe and Tripel Karmeliet, alongside wines, soft drinks, and a food menu featuring croques, pizzas, snacks, and breakfast items served from early morning.
Beyond food and drink, Café Artois is designed as a lively social space with a central bar, interactive music selection, live performances, and digital ordering systems. The concept aims to recreate a relaxed “last drink before departure” atmosphere, blending travel flow with hospitality experience.
By introducing a prominent Belgian brand into the terminal environment, Avolta aims to strengthen the airport’s local identity and enhance the pre-journey experience for passengers departing from Brussels. The café is open daily from 5:00 to 20:00.
