Since 27 March, EasyJet has been operating four flights a week from Bordeaux to Berlin on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flight days and schedules have been specially chosen to facilitate city breaks in the German capital, which constitutes a great destination at any time of year with things to do 24 hours a day.
Since March, Berlin has been just a 2hr 30-minute flight away from Bordeaux, with tickets sold by EasyJet at very reasonable prices. Travelers can now easily spend a long weekend in one of Europe’s most dynamic cities that has extraordinary creative energy. Berlin is a trendy capital by excellence that combined history and a striking sense of modernity. With just a few weeks to go before the end-of-year festive season, seize the opportunity to stroll through the different districts of Berlin for a bit of Christmas shopping, from arty Prenzlauer Berg to chic Mitte, without forgetting the alternative style of Kreuzberg!
With the arrival of Visit Berlin in Bordeaux, the Airport took the opportunity to review this destination which is proving popular with both leisure travellers and professionals: with 30,000 passengers since the route opened, the line is enjoying huge success.
This one-day event is an opportunity for the Visit Berlin and Bordeaux Airport teams to welcome travel agencies and tour operators that we work in close collaboration with,” explained the Director of Bordeaux Airport, Pascal Personne. “Based on the results seen since the route was first opened, Berlin will be attracting a large number of travellers throughout the year, not forgetting all the Berliners who will be able to discover our beautiful city and the Nouvelle Aquitaine region and its multiple facets.
