Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) welcomed 12.1 million passengers in the first half of 2025, marking a 2% year-on-year increase. Growth was stronger during the winter flight schedule (+5.2%), but Ryanair’s summer schedule reductions have dampened momentum.
In June 2025, 2.29 million passengers used BER, 50,000 fewer than in June 2024. The airport saw 17,149 aircraft movements, down from 17,980 the previous year. The busiest travel day was Friday, 6 June, with 88,034 passengers.
Cargo volumes rose sharply, with 4,329 tonnes handled in June (+9.3% YoY) and 24,098 tonnes in H1 (+16.1% YoY).
