Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) recorded 2.01 million passengers in November, a 5.7 percent increase compared with the same month last year, according to preliminary traffic figures.
The airport saw its busiest day of the month — and one of the busiest of the year — on Sunday, 2 November, when 88,894 passengers passed through the terminals.
From January to November, more than 24 million travellers used BER, about 500,000 more than during the same period in 2024.
Aircraft movements also rose slightly. A total of 15,242 take-offs and landings were registered in November, up from 15,011 one year earlier. Air freight volumes increased as well, with 4,468 tonnes handled — roughly 717 tonnes more than in November 2024.
