A Thai Airways Airbus A350 (reg. HS-THL) operating flight TG935 to Bangkok was forced to return to Brussels after a computer glitch.
闵魁偲 (Twitter @cmiller11101), a passenger on board tweeted that a computer malfunction forced the pilots to head back to Brussels. It was later mentioned that the left-hand engine had an oil leak, but according to our latest information, the sensor was faulty and gave a wrong oil leak indication.
Lufthansa Technics came on board to check the problem; the airline expected that the issue will be quickly resolved so that flight TG935 can resume its flight to Bangkok. At 17:27, four hours after the scheduled departure time, the aircraft took again to the skies and took the direction of Bangkok.
Computer malfunction. I’m told we’re not deplaning if it can be solved and will be on our way shortly…. @ThaiAirways – true?
