Antwerp Airport closed 2025 with solid traffic growth and a clear financial turnaround, welcoming 240,541 passengers, up 15.2% year-on-year, while aircraft movements remained stable at around 33,000. The airport continued to play a key role in pilot training with roughly 16,000 training movements, alongside stable business aviation activity of just over 5,200 movements.
Financially, the airport shifted from a €658,000 loss in 2024 to a €492,000 positive operating result in 2025, driven mainly by tighter cost control and improved operational efficiency under a renewed management team. Final accounts will be published in June 2026.
Looking ahead, Antwerp Airport is pursuing a diversification-focused, sustainable growth strategy, strengthening core activities while developing new segments. These include positioning the airport as a Regional Air Mobility hub for electric and hybrid aviation, investing in sustainable energy, exploring commercial and concession opportunities, and advancing initiatives such as a Drone Innovation Hub, alternative fuels and future Urban Air Mobility applications.
