Dutch Trade union FNV has announced a work interruption at Menzies Aviation, AviaPartner and Swissport Handling, starting at 5 pm. At check-in, employees will work according to applicable rules during two hours. Work will also be interrupted for 45 minutes.
It may be clear that we are not happy with the announced actions, in this busy may holiday period. We have taken several precautionary measures to guarantee that passengers can pass through our airport fluently. But given the right to strike that we have to respect, we agreed with FNV that safety at the airport will be guaranteed at all times. We regret the possible inconvenience for passengers and we will do our utmost to limit the consequences
