The popular RTL 5 series Schiphol Airport is set to return with a third season, continuing its behind-the-scenes look at operations at the Netherlands’ largest airport.

Season 3 premieres on Tuesday, 31 March, and will air weekly at 20:30 on RTL 5, with episodes also available on Videoland. The new season once again follows the airport employees responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and passenger-friendly operations for millions of travellers.

Returning familiar faces include floor managers Josée and Daan, while new colleagues are introduced this season, among them Claire and Yusuf from Viggo, whose daily work is followed closely. Viewers will also gain further insight into the roles of security officers, customs officials and the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee, highlighting how multiple services work together to keep airport processes running smoothly.

With challenging situations, unexpected developments and high-pressure moments, Schiphol Airport continues to portray the complexity behind delivering a seamless travel experience.

The series is produced by No Pictures Please, a Fremantle company.
