Hundreds of pieces of luggage remain uncollected at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport amid ongoing operational disruption, affecting a large number of passengers. More than 600 travellers have already submitted compensation claims after failing to retrieve their bags following arrival.
While Schiphol has confirmed the location of the disruption, details on the root cause, the number of flights involved, and the airlines affected have not been disclosed. There is also no clear timeline for when the issue began or when it will be fully resolved.
Passengers impacted by the delays are being advised to remain in contact with their airlines for updates on baggage recovery and further guidance.
