Schiphol Airport handled nearly 6.6 million passengers in July 2025, up 4% from a year earlier, with Spain, the UK, and Greece topping the destination list. Of these, 4.2 million were direct travellers and 2.3 million were transfer passengers, counted under international rules. European routes accounted for 4.7 million passengers, while 1.8 million travelled intercontinentally, led by the US and Italy among the top non-European destinations.

The airport recorded 43,320 flights in July, a 2% increase year-on-year, including 35,294 within Europe and 8,026 intercontinental.

Air cargo volumes fell to 114,325 tonnes from 128,192 tonnes in July 2024, due to temporary operational factors. Cargo on passenger flights declined 6% year-on-year, with 45% of freight carried on passenger services and 55% on dedicated freighters. Full freighter flights totalled 1,250, down 4% from last year.
