ACI EUROPE has released an updated Net Zero Resolution, highlighting major progress in airport climate action.
The resolution, first adopted in 2019 and strengthened in 2023, now requires participating airports to publicly disclose actionable plans, aligning with UN guidance for non-State entities.
ACI EUROPE leaders and the European Commission praised the sector’s leadership and transparency in climate efforts, stressing that decarbonisation is essential for aviation’s future license to operate and grow.
