VINCI Airports delivered an excellent traffic performance in 2025, welcoming over 334 million passengers, an increase of 5% year-on-year (+16 million passengers), confirming the continued global recovery and growth in air travel. Momentum remained solid in Q4 2025, with traffic up 3.2% compared to Q4 2024.
In Europe, growth was particularly strong at Budapest and Edinburgh, driven by low-cost carrier expansion and robust demand for Mediterranean routes. Belgrade continued its rapid growth, supported by Wizz Air’s expansion into Western Europe. In Portugal, Lisbon benefited from long-haul growth to Asia and Latin America, while Porto saw gains from low-cost and transatlantic services. London Gatwick recorded long-haul growth despite weaker UK domestic traffic, and Lyon expanded through a diversified mix of European and Mediterranean routes.
In Latin America and Africa, traffic accelerated notably. Salvador de Bahia posted record Q4 traffic, supported by GOL, TAP, Air Europa, and seasonal Air France capacity to Paris. Monterrey maintained nearly 10% growth, driven by Volaris and Viva Aerobus, while Costa Rica benefited from strong US connectivity. Cabo Verde airports continued their upward trend, supported by easyJet and Transavia, alongside expanded links to France, the UK, and Portugal.
In Japan, Q4 traffic increased overall, though geopolitical tensions with China led to some December cancellations, slightly tempering the international recovery.
Overall, VINCI Airports’ 2025 results underscore resilient demand, strong airline partnerships, and broad-based growth across regions, reinforcing its position as the world’s leading private airport operator.
