Share

Swedavia’s ten airports handled over 3.3 million passengers in July 2025, a 2% increase compared to July 2024 and reaching 88% of pre-pandemic (2019) levels.

Key Highlights

  • International travel rose by 2%, reaching 96% of 2019 levels.
  • Domestic travel grew by 7%, though still at 57% of 2019 levels.
  • 15 new summer routes launched, including charter destinations like Lamezia Terme, Skiathos, and Monastir.

Airport Performance

  • Stockholm Arlanda Airport:

    • Over 2.4 million passengers (+4% YoY)
    • Domestic traffic up 28%, international up 1%
    • Now at 97% of pre-pandemic levels
  • Göteborg Landvetter Airport:

    • 610,000 passengers (+2% YoY)
    • International travel up 2%, domestic down 9%
    • Reached 89% of pre-pandemic levels
  • Malmö Airport: Strong international travel

  • Strong domestic growth at:

    • Umeå, Luleå, Kiruna, and Ronneby Airports

  • Weaker performance at:

    • Åre Östersund Airport (closed 3 weeks for maintenance)

Swedavia’s overall growth reflects solid summer demand, particularly for international leisure travel and northern domestic destinations.
