Lithuanian Airports (LTOU) reported another all-time monthly record in June 2026, handling 741,800 passengers across Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga airports—an increase of 11.2% compared with June 2025. This marks a continuation of record-breaking monthly performance throughout the first half of the year.
Vilnius Airport led the growth with a 13.1% increase to more than 547,000 passengers, while Kaunas Airport served nearly 156,000 passengers (+6.4%) and Palanga Airport almost 39,000 (+4.8%). All three airports exceeded their previous June records.
Flight activity also rose, with nearly 5,800 movements across the network in June, up 9.4% year-on-year, including strong growth at Vilnius. According to LTOU, every month of 2026 so far has set new records, reflecting sustained demand and continued expansion of travel options.
LTOU CEO Simonas Bartkus highlighted that despite June being a relatively short month, the network achieved double-digit growth, driven by strong demand across established and new destinations.
