Fraport handled about 22.9 million passengers across its global network in July 2025, up 4.6% year-on-year. Frankfurt Airport (FRA) served 6.1 million travellers (+1.6%), driven by demand for European leisure routes to Greece, Italy and Spain, and intercontinental growth to Thailand and East Africa. FRA cargo volumes rose 3.7% to 179,055 metric tons, with aircraft movements up 5.3% to 42,657.
Most international airports grew faster than Frankfurt. Notable increases included Ljubljana (+12.2%, 181,599 passengers), Fortaleza and Porto Alegre in Brazil (+96.9% to 1.3 million, boosted by recovery from 2024 flood closures), Lima (+5.4% to 2.3 million), Greek airports (+2.4% to 6.6 million), and Bulgarian coastal airports (+4.0% to 828,538). Antalya remained stable at 5.6 million (-0.4%).
Overall, July saw steady growth across Fraport’s network, with several international locations outpacing Frankfurt’s passenger increase.
