In June, over 5 million passengers travelled through Avinor’s airports—a 5% increase from last year. Domestic travel led the surge, rising 6% to 2.8 million passengers, while international travel grew 3% to 2.2 million. So far in 2025, overall traffic is up 4%.
Commercial flight movements also rose modestly by 2% to 55,000.
Meanwhile, drone activity continues to climb, with a 30% year-to-date increase in reported drone flights via Avinor’s Ninox Drone system. Authorities are urging drone users to follow regulations closely during Norway’s busy summer flying season.
