Aena Group airports handled 27.68 million passengers in November 2025, representing a 4.7% increase year-on-year, alongside 244,057 aircraft movements (+1.6%) and 146,297 tonnes of cargo (+12.2%).
From January to November, passenger traffic across the group exceeded 356.9 million, up 4.2% compared with the same period in 2024, while aircraft movements rose 2.5% to just over 3.0 million and freight volumes increased 7.7% to nearly 1.4 million tonnes.
Spain remained the core driver, with Aena’s Spanish airports handling 22.5 million passengers in November (+4.6%). Madrid-Barajas led the network with 5.5 million passengers, followed by Barcelona-El Prat (4.3 million) and Málaga (1.75 million). A total of 22 Spanish airports and heliports recorded their best-ever November, underlining strong nationwide demand. Cargo performance was also robust, led by Madrid-Barajas and Zaragoza, with Zaragoza posting its best cargo month on record.
In Brazil, Aena’s 17 airports welcomed 3.93 million passengers in November (+5.3%). While flight movements declined, freight surged sharply, rising more than 60% year-on-year, with Congonhas Airport in São Paulo standing out for strong passenger and cargo growth. Year-to-date traffic in Brazil reached 41.5 million passengers, up 5.4%.
At London Luton Airport, passenger numbers reached 1.21 million in November, a 6% increase year-on-year, with moderate growth in aircraft movements. Over the first eleven months of 2025, Luton handled 16.2 million passengers, up 5%.
Overall, the November results confirm continued growth in passenger demand and cargo volumes across Aena’s global network, with multiple airports achieving record performance as the group approaches year-end.
